Reviews for Repatterning
I have been practising Adele’s technique for over 2 years and it is now my most valuable self-development tool.
I suffer from a type of OCD which was misdiagnosed by all 3 clinical psychologists that I had seen over the years and their advice actually made my symptoms worse.
After having worked with Adele for 6 weeks I noticed the negative effects of this condition didn’t last nearly as long as they used to, they didn’t have a “hold”.
It also allowed me to become the observer of my negative patterns rather than being caught in them.
I am now in a much better shape mentally compared to before doing the re-patterning technique.
I can’t thank Adele enough for her work with me.
Adele is a compassionate person who is truly committed to helping you. Aurelien
I initially went to Adele about my career and soon learned how everything is connected. After a few weeks into the program, I began looking at things differently, which has helped me to move forward.
Adele doesn’t let me get away with anything, she sees things I can’t ….I definitely couldn’t do this on my own. I’ve done all kinds of courses and worked with many different people and this is by far the most transformational. Rena
As a result of being in the program, I can now do my projects with ease (no more over-thinking and procrastinating) and I’m way more productive…which is huge for me!!” Kevin
I got results! I was avoiding projects. Now I just do it without a lot of thought and it feels effortless. Sometimes the shifts were subtle, and I’d notice, “oh look at that, that’s changed, or I’m not doing that anymore.” It’s really great! Michelle
I’ve loved learning about the process, I’ve done all the homework and exercises, I really enjoy the calls and I’ve learned so much. I believe in the process and how beneficial it can be. Aviva
Dear Adele, This program is the closest thing to a “silver bullet” that I have found in all my years of self-improvement! I have spend many tens of thousands of dollars on training, and yours, while simple to execute, is very high impact. Rather than whittling away at the edges of my improvement, I feel like I have now started to unravel the knots at the centre of my unhelpful behaviours. Here’s one example that I noticed recently:
Part of my people pleasing was that I had trouble saying what I think to people, even to defend myself — the closer the person is to me, the more difficult it was — and then would I go home with my brain churning over all of the things I didn’t say. And when I fought through this to say what I needed to say, I felt great stress and upset.
Recently, in two separate conversations with a friend of mine, I was able to say what I needed to say. It didn’t even twig until later what a big change this was for me. In both instances, I didn’t say anything mean — I just stated a fact that she had forgotten, and which explained my behaviour. Both were minor, and both required only one sentence, but in each case, I just said it and moved on. In both cases, problems she was trying to lay at my door were things she had caused, and I simply reminded her of her own actions.
It was wonderful to just be able to say what I wanted to say, and make my point, but the best part was that there was no discomfort, second guessing, or self-justification. and no blame or guilt. Amazing! Anita
I used to feel so overwhelmed by life – everything felt too big. Now I have an entirely different perspective on things. I am in control. I am not making mountains out of molehills. I don’t get upset about things. I am happy and I feel good. I know I can easily get to my goals – it is no big deal.
My biggest ah ha moment in the course was when I stopped seeing things as problems and started seeing them as patterns. I used to say I hate myself all the time and that never went away no matter how many affirmations or mediations I did. Regardless of how many times I said ‘I love myself’, I hate myself just kept coming back. Intellectually I could see that it wasn’t healthy but it was just part of me. So first to be able to see it as a pattern and then to have a practical tool to apply to it … low and behold, it just disappeared.
One day instead of ‘I hate myself’, the words ‘I love myself’ just popped into my mind and they have remained there ever since. As for the program, this whole course is really enjoyable and very interesting. Adele is a warm, generous and patient facilitator and there is never any judgement. It’s such a safe space, and in that space I was able to just acknowledge what is. I have shifted things that have been with me for decades… easily! Laura
My main reason to do the course was to move on with my life after my daughter passed away. I was deep in grief and the first thing I noticed was how the process made me feel much calmer. I’ve learned how to be more aware of my body and now I feel a deeper connection, and I’m starting to take care of my health more, which is new for me. Fran
Our marriage was in trouble and we were not able to resolve our issues. It was tough since I’m a coach myself and I didn’t know how to turn things around with my wife. Adele’s methodology pleasantly surprised me as I didn’t know what to expect… and it absolutely worked for our marriage.
I’ve recommended it to a few friends who have also gone on to work with her and had success with their relationships. Adele absolutely saved my marriage. M.B.
The weekly call made a big difference and held me accountable. Adele helped me see how I wanted things my own way. After learning to deconstruct that pattern, I let it go. Carla
Adele and I just concluded over a year and a half of working together and my life is definitely transformed for the better as a result. We started because of a communications impasse with my spouse who also worked briefly with Adele.
Our progress was so palpable that I asked Adele for help with a few other intractable patterns and our work has helped me move from a kind of ’stuckness’ that I had struggled with for years. Shayne
The Divided Brain
Learn why what makes you unhappy is not what you think
Over the last two decades, there has been an explosion of research being done on the human brain and how it functions. Prior to this science mostly had its attention on nature. Today it is turning the lens inwards and the findings are surprising.
If we start with an inquiry and ask, what is the root cause of most problems on this planet, we can see that the answer is humanity itself. We are the root cause of what plagues us.
Collectively, and this in no way is a reflection of the individual, we are destroying the world’s climate, escalating conflicts into wars and creating systems and institutions that lead to feelings of isolation, and stress. The question is why?
Well, recently neuroscientists have started to uncover the issue. The problems it turns out, are not social or political, the problem is much closer than that. The issue is the overeducation and over-emphasis on the left brain’s way of functioning.
Our Left Brain World
To understand the difference between our two hemispheres, we first must put aside much of what we have been taught is the difference between them. You may have heard, for example, that the left is logical and the right artistic or that the left is rational and the right creative. This is not true. Both sides of your brain are equally needed for functional things. The fundamental difference is not in what the hemispheres are doing but in how they are doing it.
The right hemisphere is deeply connected to the world around it. It sees the world in terms of context. Its primary interest is in the relationship between things and between each other.
The left hemisphere, on the other hand, perceives the world through a lens of utility. It sees the world as a collection of things, separate and divided. From strictly a left hemisphere’s point of view, you, I, and the planet are now a resource valued only for its utility.
Over the centuries, the left brain’s dominance has created a world that is out of step with the environment and with each other. Everything is now seen as a resource to the left brain, and that includes you. (If you feel like you are forever striving, running on an endless hamster wheel, this is why).
The answer to correcting the imbalance in the world is to start by correcting the imbalance within our individual brain. As we do this, the benefits for ourselves as individuals are tremendous, with happiness, peace of mind, joy, forgiveness, gratitude, and intuitive insights becoming primary. But the benefits don’t stop there.
As we rebuild the communication to our own right hemisphere, we help correct the collective imbalance on the planet.
Now, this won’t be quick, of course. Each person is but one drop in a mighty ocean, but it is well worth the efforts.
